Spring Trends: How to Acheive the Utilitarian Chic Look featuring Yours Clothing

I'm sooo ready for Jack Frost and his buddy, Cold Man Winter to leave.  I'm ready to live this spring life!

There're so many trends Spring trends catching my eye, but the way this weather set up.....

I'll have walking pneumonia. 

Sooooo I have to make sure I dress for the weather....(Sigh)

One trend in particular that has caught my eye and it's perfect for this unpredictable weather I'm experiencing here in the South. I'm talking about the Utilitarian Chic Look.

The Utilitarian Chic look combines the rugged look of Camo with the Girlie charm of a Blingy statement necklace.

In order to  recreate the Utilitarian Chic look , you will need three (3) key pieces:

• Outer Layer- This can be a light coat, blazer or jacket in a muted tone like khaki, tan or grey. You know I love transitional pieces so I had to choose this Grey Cocoon Shaped Parka Jacket  from Yours Clothing.  This parka is definitely my new Spring staple piece.  I love the light weight jacket is a dream. 

• Tee- White, Black or Stripes.  I went with a stripe tee from Target.  I keep tees ready to go in my wardrobe.  All colors and prints, there are just essentials to my wardrobe. 

• Jeans- Go Skinny or Boyfriend.  I decided to go skinny with Yours Clothing Indigo Blue Super Stretch Skinny Jeans.  I've been on the hunt for a great pair of skinny jeans that will fit both my waist and hips.  AND WE  HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!!(Break for Happy Smarty Pants Dance) These jeans are a EVERYTHING! Soft and Stretchy with a 30" inseam...Think of the options:  I can wear them with my heels and get the cool urban bad girl look or roll them up for a fun casual Sunday afternoon look.

As always trends can come and go, but to find one that will stay in your wardrobe arsenal as a classic look is always the goal when building your style. I think I've found a new one.
