Hey Luvs!!!
If you’ve been following me for a while you know my “thick thighs” problems with pants and jeans. I’m always on the lookout for the perfect pair of bottoms for these thighs. I have to admit that, yes this struggle is real in these streets when it comes to finding bottoms that fit and look good. I didn’t realize other women felt my pain until I begin blogging and expressing this issue. I found a whole new audience of women who I now referred to as #teamthicktighs . They knew exactly what I was going through when looking for pants; gapping in the back, low rise waistline and little to no stretch are some of the main problems #teamthickthighs face out here. So when the team of retailer Christopher and Banks reached out to me to discuss bottoms, I had to give these pants a test drive. Christopher & Banks has been specializing in women's apparel since 1956 and offer a wide range of styles. These are some quality pieces for a great price. I had the opportunity to pick three styles for my review, of course me being the type of person that I am .....variety was key. I picked three completely different styles to test out for my review. Ready!!!
For my first look, I had to get something for work. The team suggested the Signature Slimming Double Weave Ankle. These pants made me so happy! They have the perfect amount of stretch and because the material is double weaved, it created a smooth slimming appearance. Team Thickthighs appreciates this feature. I got the navy and paired it with an old blazer from Belk's and top from Target. To add a little fun, I added my leopard print wedge sandals from Sperry Top Sliders. YES!!! Sperry is doing some cute sandals designs this season. I got mine from 6pm.com ( now only in black)
I never thought I would like joggers pants, it was one of those things I was just didn't think would work for me. So of course the team was all about putting me in a pair of joggers and well.....I was pleasantly surprised by this cute pair of Zipper Detail Joggers (Now on Sale). The material was new to me, it reminded me of a tough version of rayon...if that exist. Very easy to wear and relax in. I kept the look easy breezy with a easy tee from Target (My tee store) and White Moto from JCP and some slip-ons also from Target to complete the look.
My last and maybe absolute favorite piece is the wonderful Everyday Denim Ankle Jean. Team, when I say Yes to the Jean..........These are everything. The material is soft but firm to hold those thighs in with ease. the waistline is true and the length is perfect for a pair flats of heeled sandals. I wanted to give this look a "Date Day" appeal. This is something I would wear on a full date out in the streets of wherever. I paired the look with a lite cargo jacket from TJMaxx, Bright orange tank from City Chic Online and Strappy sandals from DSW.
I was really impressed with these items and would definitely give other styles a try.
And because I know you're out there looking for these bottoms, CJBanks is giving One Lucky Winner a Pair of Pants or Jeans from my picks!!! Enter Below!!!
Good Luck!!!
