The holiday season is a festive time filled with family, cocktails, smiles, sparkle and shine.  This is my favorite time of the year. It's when I feel completely comfortable wearing every sequined, velvet, sheer and shimmery item in my closet without a second thought.  Maybe not all at the same time.. well actually you can, but that is for another discussion this month. So when the opportunity to be a sequin mermaid crosses your path, you know there's only thing to say.....LET'S RING IN THE NEW YEAR!

I chose a look for NYE night on the town. That's right the only thing I want bring to the party are the fireworks and this outfit has some boom.  This Sequin Maxi from  LaneBryant.com fits like a dream, the mermaid shaping is definitely a little competition for Ariel. It has just enough spandex to cause heart failure and just enough length to dance all night when you take your shoes off.  In continuing my fireworks theme, I went with the "#IMNOANGEL tee, because well...You Know. And for those chilling evenings, I finished the look with the multi functional Draped Front Blazer. You will see this item several time in my closet. I've declared it the perfect black blazer for 2016.
